On a Sunday evening, January 18th, the members of the local Christian Science church in Tyler, Texas found their church in flames. Theirs was the seventh church to burn in a rash of church fires in East Texas since the first of the year. The church members have been working and praying around the clock to “rise from the ashes” and keep their services going. Since the rash of church fires have been attributed to arson and still haven’t ceased, all the more reason to join them in our prayers for the strength and power of church. For more, listen to this short interview with Tyler, Texas church member Peter McCook.
