What is prayer in Christian Science? How is it different from faith healing? What is the role that faith plays in healing? For anyone seeking healing in their lives, it’s essential to find clarity on these questions. If you’re interested in exploring this topic further, or know someone who would be, please join us for a special chat on Thursday, January 7, 2010, titled “Christian Science prayer—not faith healing.” Our guest will be Phil Davis, spokesman for the Christian Science church based in Boston. Phil is a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing who has had extensive experience speaking to these questions in public forums.
About Phil Davis: Phil Davis has been a professional Christian Science practitioner, available to help others through prayer, for over 20 years. He is also one of about 200 authorized Christian Science teachers in the world. Phil is also the Manager of the Committees on Publication for The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston. In this role he directs the work of a world-wide team of individuals who work with local media and their governments to correct published false statements or omissions on Christian Science.
