Millions of people suffer daily with some form of pain and spend billions of dollars each year in the quest for relief. While seeking help from a variety of sources--medicine, traditional teachings, alternative therapies--they are often left to deal with chronic pain. Sometimes people are led to believe that God sends pain to test or to punish them. Why would a God who the Bible describes as Love, do this?
During this chat with a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science, you'll gain insights into the goodness of God and His love for each of us. You'll also find out how a spiritual approach to injury and disease can bring not just relief but also genuine healing.
About Caryl Farkas: Caryl is a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science from Madison, Wisconsin. She earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from Rutgers University and worked as a musician and performance artist before re-discovering her faith as a Christian Scientist and going into the full-time healing practice.
