Hunger is one of the most extreme forms of poverty, and it affects over a billion people globally. According to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, one child dies every six seconds from hunger or hunger-related causes. Sometimes food aid is present, but internal politics or other issues prevent supplies from getting to where they are needed. Of additional concern is the growing number of people in developed countries, including the United States, where an estimated 49 million people suffer from hunger. In this chat, we’ll talk about how prayer can help change attitudes and also improve the lives of those in need.

About Tony Lobl: Brought up as the son of Jewish Holocaust survivors, Tony first felt God's presence turn his life around as a twelve year old struggling with depression. A few years later he had a significant physical healing just before entering Surrey University to study Modern Mathematics. Towards the end of his University career he was introduced to Mary Baker Eddy's Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures which satisfactorily explained to him his earlier healing experiences of God's love and introduced him to the timeless value of the Bible. Ever since then the understanding and practice of Christian Science has been his main pursuit in life while he first worked in the video industry and subsequently worked in various roles for the Church of Christ, Scientist. He and his wife Jenny live in London and they are both Christian Science practitioners.
