Whether it’s pressure at work, the need for money, or challenges at home, few people are insulated from feeling stressed from time to time. For some of us, stress is a daily burden. In fact, according to the American Psychological Association, 47 percent of Americans say they are troubled by stress. The top reasons? Money, work, and health concerns. In the UK, a report suggests that 13 million working days are lost each year as a result of stress-related issues.

Does prayer offer a way to come to grips with problems without being stressed? Jesus said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matt. 11:28). In this chat with Ron Mangelsdorf, an experienced practitioner and teacher of Christian Science, you’ll hear spiritual ideas about how one can be set free from stress permanently.
