“O God, our help in ages past, /Our hope for time to come….” These grand old words written hundreds of years ago by a minister named Isaac Watts speak to the needs of these current times, when many are discouraged over job prospects or finding affordable housing. For some, a family matter or illness may seem unyielding. Maybe the global economic situation has you feeling worried.

In all of these and other conditions, God is a present help and provides hope for a secure future. Join this chat and learn how God’s love for humanity can give you strength, inspiration, and hope for today and all those that follow.

About Diane Marrapodi: Throughout her life, Diane has experienced, firsthand, the value of approaching life from the spiritual perspective taught by Christian Science. She cherishes the fact that God’s love and the truth of Christian Science is unchanging, eternal, and universal – available to all. The Bible and Mrs. Eddy’s discovery of Christian Science, recorded in her book Science and Health, were the basis for Diane’s reason for hope and healing of grief when she received word of her brother’s suicide. Several years later this same Science sustained her after a serious car accident, when the doctors who first treated her held out no hope that she would walk again or be in full possession of her mental faculties if she lived.

The constancy and effectiveness of Christian Science and its healing application led Diane, right out of college, to devote her life to its study, teachings, and public practice - serving first for a decade as a Christian Science nurse and then as a Christian Science practitioner since 1981 and a teacher since 1985.
