If you’ve had a hard time finding lasting happiness—at work, in relationships, or at home—you might be thinking that happiness is a far-off goal that you’re unable to reach. But if you’re willing to shift your thoughts in a spiritual direction, it’s likely that you really will find what you’ve been seeking, and more. Mary Baker Eddy wrote, “Happiness is spiritual, born of Truth and Love” (Science and Health, p. 57). Looking at happiness from a spiritual standpoint opens you up to what you can give to others as well as receive yourself.
