Besides the usual concerns about how weather will affect our daily lives--ranging from a farmer’s need for more, or less, rain, to planning outdoor activities--weather clearly has a global impact. With the cyclone that hit Myanmar earlier this year and the floods in the American Midwest and in China, weather has been front and center in these and other parts of the world. But the question remains: are we helpless before destructive weather? Or can a spiritual approach to viewing the world’s weather make a difference?
Mary Alice Rose, a former meteorologist and now a full-time practitioner of Christian Science healing, will be glad to respond to your questions.
About Mary Alice Rose: Mary Alice Rose is a Christian Science practitioner from Brookeville, Maryland. She has a background in meteorology and computer science. She worked for 20 years supporting research in different areas of earth science, before becoming a Christian Science practitioner.
