Despite much progress, people’s attitudes toward mental illness still tend toward stigmatizing individuals who are struggling with this challenge. “The most powerful antidote for the internal effects of stigma and discrimination is spiritual strength,” says Gunnar Christiansen, M.D., writing on the National Alliance on Mental Illness website. If you or someone you love is looking for spiritual strength and for healing of mental illness, join this chat. Participation by site visitors is completely confidential, and no e-mail addresses are collected. The guest is an experienced Christian Science healer, who will welcome your questions.
