Say goodbye to stress

Live audio chat with Ron Mangelsdorf, C.S.B.

Listen to the chat: Windows Media | Flash | Real Audio

This active chat featured questions from people trying to tame their schedules, and thus reduce stress, to figure out how to deal with anxiety over their grown children’s financial problems; to meet expenses when a family is deeply in debt; to address the stress of being laid off from work. Challenges in marriage, resistance to change, physical ailments that seem to result from stress, and other issues are all on the agenda.

Ron answers the questions out of his own experience. He affirms that “we can challenge the notion that modern-day life has become so filled with stress. That’s not what life is supposed to be like.” The life that comes from God, he says, includes a wonderful sense of freedom. Stress would make us feel like we’re overwhelmed, but keeping God uppermost in our thoughts and letting that guide us is something we each can do. Making that commitment to love God daily will help everything else we need to do, fall into place.
