Technology: How can I keep up with the changes?

Live audio chat with Jon Benson, C.S.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by technology, this chat will provide some solid spiritual ideas that can help. Jon makes the point that none of us are “fossils in our own time,” and nothing can hide our potential for good. He says we need to let go of what we think we know and listen to God--the true Mind of the universe. This helps us lift off “our limited conceptions of things and replace them with thoughts that come directly from God. “

Jon responds to questions from site visitors about feeling that inability to use a new application of technology is limiting one’s professional opportunities, dealing with frustration if the technology is slow or won’t do what we want. Finding balance in the midst of so many opportunities to use technology, feeling resistant to using any of it, or being worried about the cost of it are among the issues raised. Concerns about protecting privacy, dealing with outsourced technical staff who are unable to be helpful, and the relation of God and technology are also a part of the dialogue.
